Aptec Kiosk Services (AKS) made a strong appearance in Gitex 2006. AKS featured the concepts of self-service it stands behind. On its stand from November 18th to 22nd, AKS displayed four of it state-of –the-art Kiosk models. The best seller Thinman and the smart looking Stealth attracted their usual audience. The new gaming giant Zazoox drew both gamers and industry investors to AKS stand with its 26” LCD and subwoofer that guarantees the best gaming and internet experience in a compact self-service internet café. Last but not least, was the full fledged photo kiosk that provides all the services delivered at a photo shop for digital photography users.

It was a good opportunity to meet representatives from different levels of the value chain varying from OEM parts vendors, fellow kiosk providers, our business customers and the end users. We displayed different solutions that address the requirements of different industries such as the financial sector, health care and government sector. We also had the chance to show the integrated solution of digital signage with kiosks in the form of overhead signage area.
